My top 5 favorite lipsticks!✿

It proved more difficult than I thought to choose 5 lipsticks within my collection that I favored the most, but I finally settled for these 5 beauties!
There is a mixture of high end and drug store products and also a variation in finishes, colours and appearance.

So starting from left to right, my Dior Addict Lipstick in Red carpet is my favourite go-to red lipstick. It's red with hot pink undertones and makes any make up look, fierce! This retails for around £24 and to me, it is most definitely worth it. It applies wonderfully with a creamy texture which dries within about 5 minutes leaving a shiny finish that lasts about 6 hours, but still giving you enough time to adjust and fix it if needs be. I've wore this more commonly while out for dinner or a special event. I've found that when eating and drinking this lipstick remains intact! I recommend this lipstick to anyone!

Next is my Estee Lauder Pure Colour Long Lasting Lipstick in Blushing Creme which is a beautiful dark pink with orange undertones to it. It also has a creamy formulation which feels like silk on my lips. It lasts about 4 hours before I would have to re-apply, which in my books, is pretty good! The colour is so sophisticated and makes me think of women in white suits drinking tea at a country club. Dont ask.

If I ever want to reach for a fun, daring lipstick that adds a pop of colour to any outfit, I reach for Rimmel London Moisture Renew lipstick in Sweetheart Tulips every time. It is highly pigmented so it doesn't take much to cover my lips completely and it also stays on for quite a long time with eating and drinking. It is very creamy and moisturizes my lips while making them look amazing!

My favorite pale pink lipstick will always be Rimmel London Lasting Finish Lipstick in Pink Blush. This is my go-to lipstick for a casual, everyday look. It is girly, sophisticated and natural all at the same time! this lipstick however, isnt pigmented as much as the other lipsticks in the rimmel london collection but it is worth an extra coat when you achieve the glossy pink coat. I normally dont even need to use lip gloss with this lipstick as it is so glossy.

My last favorite lipstick is one that I bought in Holland while I was there. It is the Hema Moisurising lipstick in the shade 26. ( I couldnt find it online) It is a beautiful gold shimmery colour that I wouldnt normally go for but I love how it pops in a subtle way and catches the light. It lasts about 5 hours and even then it still remains shimmery. This lipstick was a bargain at only 3 Euro! I love the formulation and I know the next time I am in Holland I will most definitely re-purchase!

So there you have it! My top 5 favorite lipsticks! I hope you enjoyed this post!:)
I would also like to say that I am going to try and post monday, wednesday and saturday now! Please follow me on blog lovin' and comment any other posts you would like to see me do!
Thanks so much,

☮ Mini Haul☮

Holland: Day 4

Today I walked into the local town/village and found a few cute shops that sold quirky and cute items, I had to pick up a few! Here they are:)

(from top to bottom)
1. I bought these 4 nail polishes from a shop called 'Hema' They had a very large selection of colours so it was so hard to choose which ones to buy. I settled for a hot pink, a mint green, a gold glitter and a hardener (I'm so impatient when it comes to waiting on my nails to dry)
I have already used the mint green, gold glitter and hardener. With two coats of the mint colour my nails were totally opaque and dry within a minute or two, The gold top coat is so pigmented and surprisingly contained a lot of glitter.

2. I was actually looking for a nice decorative book to organise my blog posts and I just couldn't believe my luck when I spotted this! It has neon and soft coloured flowers with a stamp in the middle, inside it has 2 note blocks, one that says 'To Do' and the other says 'Blog Notes' It's perfect and for only  €4 its a steal.

3. I just love notebooks so I couldn't resist this 10 pack of notebooks for only  €2. I also bought some colored pens, which disappointingly are all blue, and not actually coloured! Talk about a let down!

4. Finally I bought these cute hair ties that could also be doubled up as bracelets, they're cloth so they can be washed and are very subtle fashion statements that can make any outfit cute and girly!

☆What I ate today!☆

Holland: Day 3

Today I ate quite healthily and my food was delicious! I think it would be rude not to share my colorful munches today, so here it is!:

Breakfast~

Okay, So I know its nothing exiting but for my breakfast I had a bowl of Chocos cereal a.k.a my all time favourite, it does have quite a bit of sugar in it but everyone needs their daily dose of sugar. I 1% fat milk so that I didn't feel too guilty about eating them.

Lunch~
As it was so hot today, for my lunch I ate a large plate of watermelon (5-6 slices) It is so juicy and full of water which helped to cool me down.

Dinner~

For dinner I had this tasty chicken ceasar salad with croutons, lettuce, cheese, chicken, tomato, radish, cucumber, egg and salad sauce. It was really delicious and filled me for a long time.

Snacks~
For my snacks throughout the day I had 2 bananas, 2 mandarin oranges and I nibbled at a bag of Natural Lays... I know, they're so full of fat but im on holiday!

Whats in my travel make-up bag? ♡ Holland Day 1♡ ✞

✞Whats In My Travel Make-Up Bag
I've been in Holland for one day now and i'm already trying to get used to the sticky, humid weather and my make-up is greatly suffering!
My routine consists of 11 products that make my make up application a lot easier and make sure that my face stays perfect all day!
My make-up bag looks a little packed but I assure you; They're all essentials!

Face Products:
1. Gosh BB cream; foundation, primer and moisturiser all in one.
I bought this product 2 days ago, I've used it twice and i'm already in love with it! It leaves a porcelain, matte finish without that cakey feeling that a foundation gives. It matches my skin tone exactly and blends beautifully.

2.Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer; Again, I recently bought this but from what I have used of it, it's amazing! It covers spots, redness and problem areas with ease, and feels light on my face, too! I love how it allows my skin to breathe!

3.Benefits Erase Paste; I used erase paste underneath my eyes to cover my dark circles, it is quite thick and makes my face feel slightly caked, but it does the job none the less.

4.Mac Matte Blush in Mocha; I love lightly dusting my cheeks with this blusher to give my face a healthy glow. However, if I have a heavy eye shadow look i'll skip this product.

5.Benefit High Beam; I use my benefit high beam on days where I don't wear foundation or bb cream for a healthy, natural look on my face. It makes me look alive and well rested.

6.Essence 'Fix and Matte' translucent powder; I pat this over my makeup with a powder puff when I'm finished to keep my makeup looking matte and preventing a shiny t-zone.

Eye Products:
1.Urban Decay Primer Potion in Greed; I apply this onto my lids before patting urban decays Half Baked onto my lids for that natural, sultry look. It keeps my eye shadow and eye liner on all day long.

2. MUA Extreme felt liner; This is a basic run-of-the-mill product that does its job and nothing more. It is quite watery and takes a while for the colour to become opaque. I don't think I will be repurchasing but for now its good for a winged out eye-liner look.

3. Rimmel London soft kohl eye liner; This is one of my Holy Grail items and is perfect for skimming across my waterline for a smouldering look.

4.Collection Sexy Curves Mascara; This mascara lengthens and volumises my lashes and makes them almost look like false lashes, I love this mascara and it lasts a very long time!

Lip Products
1.Avons Glazewear shine lipgloss; I don't like to overwhelm my lips on holiday so I just use this gloss to top up my lips now and again, it has a plumping effect and gives them a natural colour.

So there you have it, you've had a nosy in my make up bag! Dont forget to follow me on blog lovin' for updates of my travel and holiday posts or if you're just interested in make up and beauty.
