10 random things in my handbag!

So, I was bored and decided to make this fun tag! (Sorry for the bad quality pictures, I took them with my iPad) 

First of all the handbag that I am currently using is this really sleek tote bag. I think it's from accessorize but I'm not 100% sure. I love it because of the edgy, rose gold studs embellished on the front and sides of the bag. It has one strap which is the perfect length for the crook of my arm.

So, onto the 10 items!

1. My purse!

My purse is a white based wallet style purse with green designs of impossibly skinny girls hugging Care Bears, cheerleading, shopping and looking pretty. It also has cute verses from poems and songs in newspaper-style print. I love this purse as it's quirky and unusual. 

2. My iPod!

My iPod is a 8gb (cracked) black model. It's basically nearing the end of its life so I keep it protected in this cute little striped sock. It's not a real sock, I bought it in a boutique in my town. I also keep my earphones in here so I don't have to go hunting for them when I want to listen to music. 

3. Tissues

I always need a tissue when I'm out and about especially as its cold 24/7 where I'm from. I always have the sniffles. These are an essential for my bag.

4. My keys! 

My keys are the most important item in my bag, and I always manage to lose them, that's why I have surrounded them with lots of jingley key rings including a one direction up all night key ring, a Disney key, a library card and a 16th birthday bear. These make it so much easier to find my keys in my bag. 

5. My Nintendo dsi

I like having my Nintendo with me in my bag in case I get bored on the bus or something. I always get funny looks when I pull it out but the monochrome look with the diamonds makes it that little bit better, right?

6. My make up bag 

Of course I have a makeup bag in my handbag, I'm a girl after all! I have a few essentials in this cute black bag including my Vaseline rosy lips, wet'n'wild mascara, Rimmel London 'nude delight' lipstick, collection concealer and my lady gaga 'fame' perfume. Every girl should have a little 'beauty kit' in their bag. Especially after a long day of shopping! 

7. Hand sanitizer

I always have to have hand sanitizer with me when I'm out in case I'm in a public restroom and there's no soap. I hate not being clean, even on my hands! 

8. My camera 

Even though I don't use the camera normally, ( I use a nikon coolpix l310) I like to carry this in my handbag in case something exiting happens and I want to capture it. I love taking pictures and I'm always printing pictures off and putting them in my scrap book. This camera is a Samsung wb100.

9.Mirror 

I carry this cute Minnie Mouse mirror with me in my bag just to keep myself in check throughout the day. My friends also always ask me for one so I like the be prepared. 

 

10. Bobble egg

I am always in need of a hair tie (I call them bobbles) but I can never seem to find them in my bag, so to keep them all together I put them in this little egg. It's easy to find and I'm never short of a bobble!

1. What do you order from Starbucks?

Normally when I go to Starbucks I just can't resist a classic hot chocolate, but from time to time I do give in and get a berry hibiscus juice drink. They are just full of flavour and taste! I know they have heaps of sugar in them but they're just too tasty to pass up on!

2. What's the one thing in your closet that you can't live without?
Probably my oversized boy London sweatshirt. It's just so comfortable but gives a grungy edge to an outfit. I love wearing it with shorts, tights and vans for a casual, but put together look.

3. What's the one thing people don't know about you?
Most people don't know that I am extremely OCD when it comes to my bedroom, everything has to be in the correct place, neat and tidy or it would put me in a bad mood. I can't sleep if my rooms messy, weird I know but the heart wants what the heart wants, In my case it's a clean room.

4. What's the one thing you want to do before you die?

I just have to see the northern lights, it just seems so magical and special. I can't go a lifetime without seeing it.

5. What's one food you could not live without?
Tuna. I can think of 5 meals that I could make with it right now. It's the perfect sandwich filler and I don't feel bad about eating it because it's healthy! It's a win for everyone! Unless you don't like tuna of course..

6. What's one quote you live your life by?
I don't mean to go all 'one direction Fangirl' on you but Louis Tomlinson once said ' live life for the moment, because everyone else is uncertain' it really speaks to me on so many levels. If you have the opportunity to do something, do it now! You wanna say something? Speak up! You love someone? Tell them! You never know when else you're going to have the opportunity to do it again. This quite gives me so much confidence.

7. What do you like and dislike about the blogging community?
I can't really answer this question as I'm not exactly part of the blogging community yet.

8. What's the no.1 song on your iTunes?

9. What kind of style would you describe yourself as having?
My style isn't individual or unique although I do like altering outfits to make them quirky or grungy. Fashion makes me happy.

10. Favourite number?
It's always been 8, I think because when I was 8 years old, everything seemed perfect. You know, from an 8 year olds perspective. I got connect the dots for homework, I had my friends, there was no drama in my life. Everything was just amazing.

11. Two hobbies?
I have way more than 2 hobbies but probably reading and blogging.

12. Two pet peeves?
I hate loud chewers, loud breathers or loud drinkers. I just don't like obnoxious noises coming from people's mouths. It makes me angry. Anther pet peeve would be when people tease me. I hate being teased. Like when someone goes to give me something, but pulls it out of my reach before I can get it. I just hate it.

13. Your guilty pleasure?
I am partial to an episode of keeping up with the kardashians. Okay, okay. I've watched every episode and jump at the chance of a re run as soon as I see it on tv. Bible.

Official First post!

So, hi there! 
I'm Carly and this is my first post! This is one of many attempts to run a blog but I do hope that this one proves successful. If you're interested in makeup, fashion, hair, music and food then I think you'll find that you've came to the right place.
Well anyway I guess I'll go back to being a functioning human being and produce some carbon dioxide and stop rambling.
